This week WisCaregiver Careers – CNA hosted a webinar which detailed upcoming program changes and unveiled WisCaregiver Connections, the program’s newest recruiting resource.

Changes detailed in the webinar include:

• The Mentorship program will cease effective 5/1/2024. Any eligible mentors prior to 5/1/2024 will be eligible for the $500 mentorship bonus.
• Medicaid will be issuing the program’s reimbursements starting May 1.
• The customer service help desk will be staffed by UWGB.
• WisCaregiver-CNA-Employer policies are being updated and a revised Employer Guide will reflect any changes.
• The URL wiscaregiver.com will now be used a landing page for both CDCP and CNA candidates.
• Employers must re-register with the program CNA Employer Registration Form  (tfaforms.net)
• WHCA and LeadingAge Wisconsin will provide program outreach and advocacy on behalf of their members. Questions, comments or concerns can be directed to wiscaregiver@whcawical.org.

UWGB staff demoed WisCaregiver Connections, including posting jobs, setting up notifications, search filters, and messaging with candidates. The system is powered by the Handshake platform.
