DHS Seeks Assisted Living Facility Participation in Staffing Stability Survey: Responses Due July 20th!

The Department of Health Services (DHS) is requesting participation by assisted living centers in a staffing stability survey. The data of from the survey will be used to assisted in improving the quality and stability of the assisted living facility workforce.  Facilities participating in the survey will receive an incentive payment of up to $1000 for doing so.

In a letter from DHS, they announced that in September 2022, agencies/facilities that serve the aging or physically disabled populations will have the opportunity to participate in a pilot data driven survey to help improve the quality and stability of the direct care workforce.

This pilot will be run like the IDD Staff Stability Survey run by National Core Indicators (NCI). Check out the 2020 IDD report to see what it looks like.

Benefits of participating

If your agency completes the survey, your data will be included in an NCI-ADvancing States report. Your data will help speak to the issues like wages, turnover, benefits and demographics.
